Business Lockout
Keys missing and staff waiting at the door? We check that you’re allowed in every time, then get the door open with care. Shops, offices, salons, restaurants and warehouses around the valley call us when a key goes missing.

Get the doors open, even when the key didn’t show.
Storefronts, offices and back doors
Glass storefront doors, heavy mortise locks, steel back doors and panic-bar exits each open differently. Our van carries tools for these commercial doors, so your staff and customers aren’t left waiting on the sidewalk. Glass doors get extra care: we work around the glass and the aluminum frame instead of forcing the lock.
If a storefront lock has failed rather than simply being locked, opening it may mean taking the cylinder out, and we explain that before we start.
Proof first, always
Before we open any business, we check photo ID and proof that you’re allowed inside. It protects you from someone who claims to be the manager and isn’t.
After we open
If the lock itself is failing, commercial lock repair can often sort it out while we’re there. If keys were stolen, a rekey, often on the same day, shuts them out. If the door got damaged when someone tried to get in, we can look at that too.
Missing keys at a business tend to follow a staff change. A master key system can make the next lost key a much smaller problem.
Getting your doors open
Call with the details
The business, which door, and who will meet us with photo ID and proof they’re allowed in. Say whether it’s a glass storefront, a steel back door or an inside office door.
Quick response
We head out and check ID and authorization when we arrive.
Careful opening
We open the door with the method that does the least harm, starting with picking or bypass.
Lock check
We look over the lock, and repair or rekey it if needed.
Have these ready
-
Photo ID
A driver’s license or state ID for the person asking us to open the door.
-
Proof you’re allowed in
Something that shows you work there or run the place. We look at it together with your ID before opening.
-
Your alarm code ready
Have it handy so the alarm doesn’t keep sounding once the door opens.
-
Missing keys?
Ask about a rekey before we leave, so the lost keys stop working.
-
Keys for the next shift
Tell us if you need extra keys cut, so the next person to open up isn’t locked out too.
-
A clear doorway
Keep staff and deliveries away from the door so we can get straight to work.

Business lockout questions
What if the alarm goes off when the door opens?
Have your alarm code ready and enter it as soon as the door opens. If you don’t have the code, call your alarm company before we get there.
Can you open a glass storefront door without damaging it?
In most cases, yes. Storefront locks can usually be opened without harming the glass or the frame. If a lock has failed inside, we explain the options first.
Will you rekey if the keys were stolen?
Yes, the same day when possible. Stolen keys may travel with your address, so it’s worth doing right away. We can also talk through restricted keys, which are much harder to copy.
Do you open warehouses and back doors?
Yes. Warehouses, storerooms, back doors and offices inside larger buildings. If several doors share one key, we can rekey them together.
What should we do while we wait?
Keep customers and staff clear of the door, have the alarm code handy, and don’t try to force the lock or pry the door. A bent frame turns a simple opening into a repair.
